Members stop coming after six weeks and we only notice when they quit

The problem, in their words

We have around four hundred members. People join with real intent, come well for a month, then drift. We find out only when the renewal lapses. I want to know who has gone quiet while there is still time to do something about it, and for those members to hear from us in a way that does not feel like a sales call.
